Shaneca Lee, B.S.
Treasurer | Dual Role

Shaneca is currently the Associate Vice President – Site Head for Indy Device Manufacturing at
Eli Lilly and Company, where she is responsible for leading a site of over 350 employees who
oversee 15+ contract and equipment manufacturers that supply medical devices, device
subassemblies or device components globally. She has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from
Purdue University. Shaneca started her engineering career 20+ years ago at Chrysler
Corporation as a Manufacturing Process Engineer and later as a Six Sigma Blackbelt. For the
past 21 years, she has utilized her engineering and leadership skills in various roles at Eli Lilly
and Company.
Through her successful engineering career, Shaneca has also had the opportunity to mentor
and develop young students/engineers which is also a personal passion of hers. Shaneca also
mentors’ as young girls and women through transitional phases in their lives. For the past 17
years, she has played an integral part in recruiting top talent across several universities
nationwide for the Device Network at Eli Lilly and Company.
Shaneca currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Starfish Initiative which is a non-profit
organization that provides long-term community-based mentoring for high school students. Her
previous board of directors’ position included the Indiana Manufacturing Association. Shaneca
also serves on the usher board as the lead usher at her church where she has been a member
for 30+ years.
