Michelle Branch is a passionate advocate for children and families, bringing over a decade of dedicated service within the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township. After earning her Master’s in Social Work from IUPUI, she honed her expertise in behavior modification, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care—skills she now leverages every day as the School Social Worker at Spring Mill Elementary.

At Spring Mill, Michelle partners closely with teachers, parents, and local agencies to design and implement holistic support systems that remove barriers to learning. She has led restorative-justice circles that reduce suspensions, launched resilience-building workshops for students, and coordinated schoolwide mental-health screenings to ensure no child falls through the cracks.

Driven by a deep commitment to equity and trust-based relationships, Michelle champions inclusive practices that celebrate every student’s strengths. Her unwavering focus on mental-health advocacy and community collaboration makes her an indispensable force in creating safe, supportive environments where young people can thrive.
